The other day I posted Kelly Clarkson’s stunning version of Coldplay’s “Fix You” from her current Stronger tour. Each night she’s doing a fan request and last night at Madison Square Garden she fittingly did a Broadway number. The avid fan of musicals expressed her desire to star in one someday and from this performance (and going all the way back to Idol performances like “Stuff Like That There“), it’s clear she will be incredible on the Great White Way. I am a huge fan of both Kelly and Barbra. I was at the concert when Kelly sang My Man. My jaw dropped it was so wonderful. Barbra sings it so beautifully and emotionally because she was acting the role so there is no comparison. I love both.
