It’s been 30 years since Grammy winning pop music icon George Michael burst on to the scene with his group Wham! Since that time he has amassed a huge catalog of hits, stirred up a whole lot of drama, came out of the closet, battled his own demons with addiction, and through it all, he keeps making great music. The man who gave us Faith returns to his dance roots with his new single “White Light” which hit the web yesterday. It’s a great song in the vein of his dance smashes of the last decade like “Amazing” and “Flawless (Go to the City)”. The single is clearly autobiographical as George sings about the fight to stay alive no matter, especially considering his dangerous bout with pneumonia last year. Luckily, George made it through and has delivered this great emotional dance confection. Check it out below and watch for a new album from Michael in the fall.
