It’s a Glee Christmas Preview!

Last year, Glee took on my second favorite Christmas song~ Wham!’s “Last Christmas”. This year, they are doubling down and tackling my first and third fave holiday songs: Band Aid’s classic 1984 charity single “Do They Know It’s Christmas” and Mariah Carey’s 90′s smash “All I Want for Christmas is You”. Luckily, both covers are delightful and I have them for you below. Take a look and a listen to the tracks which are available on Glee’s second Christmas album out in stores and digital outlets now. It’s the Holidays….

As I’m sure you’ve noticed… the holidays are upon us and we’re all crazy busy with family and fun, etc…. So, the posts will be few and far between… I apologize… But I want you to have a wonderful holiday season and so here are a few of my favorite Christmas songs for you to enjoy… Merry Christmas readers!!!

Lady Antebellum does Mariah Carey!

Ok, yes, the title for this article is a little misleading, but still, get your heads out of the gutter…. What I meant to say is Lady Antebellum covers a Mariah Carey song! It’s true the Grammy winning country pop superstars are doing Mariah’s iconic Christmas track “All I Want for Christmas” on their new holiday ep, A Merry Little Christmas. After a first listen, it’s a nice ballad reinterpretation of the song, but it sure has nothing on the original. Now, I’m not a big Christmas music fan, but Mariah’s song is awesome and possibly my favorite pop Christmas song (along with Wham!’s “Last Christmas” and Band Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas”). So, nice try kids, but Mariah takes this battle by a mile. And interestingly enough, Mariah has a second Christmas album, Merry Christmas II, coming out as well on Nov 2nd. …
