The critically acclaimed yet still under appreciated cop drama Southland is back for its fourth season premiere tonight on TNT. This show is gritty, intense, real, fascinating and sometimes even fun. The cast is first-rate especially Michael Cudlitz as a drug addled gay cop, Ben MacKenzie (The OC) as the newbie from a privileged background and the brilliant Regina King as the strong female detective who has seen it all. This season, the show even adds Emmy nominee Lucy Liu as you have never seen her before. So, it’s definitely worth checking out. Catch the season premiere tonight at 10pm on TNT.
