It looks like Adele and Katy Perry don’t want anyone else to get any glory on the music charts this year as both of them continue their domination of the Album and Singles charts. As Adele’s 21 returns to the top of the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart, it also passes 1 million in sales and remains the top-selling album of the year by over 300,000 copies. (Mumford & Sons’ Sigh No More is in second.). Adele is also helped by her leadoff single “Rolling in the Deep” which remains in the top ten of the Hot 100 and the Top Digital Singles Sales charts… Speaking of the singles charts, Katy Perry’s fourth consecutive Hot 100 and Digital Singles Sales # 1 holds steady as “E.T.” easily wins another week on top.
