Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and some guy named Mac Miller take over the Charts

It’s another week and another accomplishment for Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift as she grabs her 8th top ten Billboard Hot 100 single debut with “If this was a Movie”. That gives her 10 total Hot 100 singles to grace the top ten and she has two more debuts this week with “Ours” at # 13 and “Superman” at # 26, not to mention having a fifth # 1 country single this week with “Sparks Fly”. She also nabbed the Entertainer of the Year award at last week’s CMA Awards and is up for a few American Music Awards on Sunday. The woman is a machine! These latest charting songs are from the re-release of her multiplatinum smash album Speak Now which hit iTunes last week… Swift is not the only one making news on the Hot 100. Rihanna holds at # 1 for a third week with “We Found Love” while debuting at # 73 with the follow up “You Da One” and Bruno Mars grabs his 8th top ten with “It Will Rain” from the Twilight: Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 soundtrack.
