First Listen~ Bruce Springsteen “We Take Care of Our Own”

Ok, as ya’ll know when I post about hot new music, it’s usually a new track from a Diva, a former Idol, or a dance smash about to happen. However, today, you are getting a track from Grammy winning Rock N’ Roll icon Bruce Springsteen. I have always respected his work and loved his 80’s pop rock goodness (cuz I love me some pop goodness), but over the past few decades I’ve only really loved a few cuts like his Oscar-winning track “Streets of Philadelphia” from Philadelphia. Nonetheless, he always makes quality music and is one of the biggest names in all of music history. With that said, he has a new album, Wrecking Ball, out March 6th and the first single just hit the web. The new song, “We Take Care of Our Own”, is his most commercial track in ages and brings together his great uplifting message of our country’s resilience (much like his anthem “Born in the U.S.A.). I’m a fan of the song already, but what do you think? Take a listen below and for more on Bruce, head to his website here.

And here’s a Bruce classic for ya… “Dancing in the Dark” his highest charting hit, a # 2 from 1984 (yup, Bruce has never had a # 1 hit on the Hot 100!)… And watch for Cougar Town’s Courtney Cox dancing on the stage too. Love it!
