No One is “Stronger” than Kelly Clarkson on the Charts

Kelly Clarkson is having a great week. After a triumphant turn on the “National Anthem” at the Super Bowl on Sunday, the Grammy winner notches her 3rd # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart today with “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”. It follows her previous chart toppers “A Moment Like This” and “My Life Would Suck Without You”. (It’s pretty shocking that her signature smash “Since U Been Gone” peaked at # 2 isn’t it? But don’t fret, she’s had a ton of # 1 pop, Adult Top 40 and AC hits too). Anywho, Kelly displaces Adele who slides into the runner-up spot with “Set Fire to the Rain”. Check out the new top ten below, and watch for her Super Bowl cohort Madonna to hit the top ten next week with “Give Me All Your Luvin'”. That track becomes Madge’s 56th Hot 100 hit debuting at # 13 with only 3 days of sales and airplay. It’s her 4th highest debuting song and ties her with Dionne Warwick for the second most Hot 100 hits by a female after Aretha Franklin who has 73.
