The Hunger Games Holds off Adele on the Charts

Grammy winning pop superstar Adele has been in a holding pattern for the past three weeks as her former 23 week chart topper, 21, stands sill at # 2 on the Billboard Album charts. Previously, Bruce Springsteen and boy band One Direction kept her at bay. This week, it’s the big soundtrack to the massive hit film The Hunger Games featuring music by likes of Taylor Swift, The Civli Wars, Maroon 5 and more that takes the top slot. It’s unlikely Adele will return to the summit next week either as Madonna’s fantastic new album, MDNA, is already on track to hit the top… For more on all these albums and all the Billboard charts, head here.
