Jack White Grabs his First # 1 Album on the Charts

It may surprise you that Grammy winning rocker Jack White has never had a # 1 album. The best he has done was the runner-up spot with his group The White Stripes, but now, he lands his first chart topper with Blunderbuss. It leads four debuts in the top ten of the Billboard Album charts along with country singers Lee Brice, Kip Moore and boy band The Wanted… For more on this chart, head to Billboard here.

Over on the Hot 100 Singles Chart, it’s business as usual with Gotye at #1 again. His single “Somebody that I Used to Know” makes it three weeks on top, but he has some new competition from former Canadian Idol contestant Carly Rae Jepsen. Her debut single “Call Me Maybe” breaks into the top five this week while the rest of the top ten is pretty stagnant. Scroll down for a look at this week’s chart.
