“Zero Dark Thirty” takes more Critics Awards from Boston and New York

Last week, Zero Dark Thirty cemented its place as an Oscar front-runner winning Best Picture at the New York Film Critics and the National Board of Review. Sunday, the film added two more wins from the Boston Film Critics Society and the New York Online Critics. (It also ruled the new Boston Online Film Critics tallies.) Zero director Kathryn Bigelow was named Best Director while Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln) and Emmanuelle Riva won Best Actor and Actress from both groups. They differed on the Supporting races with Tommy Lee Jones (Lincoln) and Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) taking home Supporting Actor while Sally Field (Lincoln) and Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables) took Supporting Actress….
