As most of you know, the movie I’m most looking forward to this winter is the big Oscar buzz musical Les Miserables. However, coming in a close second is the first installment in a new trilogy from Lord of the Rings Oscar-winning mastermind Peter Jackson, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The film hits theaters December 14th and will no doubt be a blockbuster. The question is will it be awards bait like the Rings trilogy or just a crowd pleaser? Well, taking a look at the new trailer, it seems like it could fulfill both tasks. It also looks like it has a lot more humor than the Rings films. Check out the new film trailer below. This one stars Martin Freeman and Richard Armitrage alongside Rings players Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving, Oscar winner Cate Blanchett and Oscar nominee Sir Ian McKellan.
